Through the door, there came familiar laughter
I saw your face and heard you call my name
Oh, my friend, we're older but no wiser
For in our hearts, the dreams are still the same

Those were the days, my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we'd choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes, those were the days
Those were the days, oh yes, those were the days

We are here to help you rediscover your "long-lost" friends and to rekindle with the ones whom you had shared your most happy childhood memories with.
We are here with the
WHO, WHAT and WHERE.... without asking for the WHYs...
the reflections of our lives
They said  that  life is like driving down a long uncertain road.... We see many things but  some of the them which we had passed by will never be seen again - e.g. the people, cars, animals, birds, trees,  etc.  Yes,  things  like the lamp posts, the post boxes, the telephone booths and road signs are common sights which we can see often and take for granted. But even these common objects disappear in some places as we reach certain areas. It is then we can start realizing that down the road there are no longer that same things which we have seen and appreciated before - and we start missing them but they are forever gone....

It is like with our old school  friends …we have passed them by in our journey of life. Down the long winding road many have been left behind or had taken different routes. Each of us have a journey to make, a destination to reach and we may not want to stop or slow down for the people or things that are behind. But the least we can can do is to look into our REAR MIRROR to see where we had gone through, what we had passed by and if there is anyone waving behind us....

My dear friends, this website is your REAR MIRROR, please look into it once a while......

LATEST ANNOUNCEMENT
MY DEAR FRIENDS,

This is an article from New Straits Times and The Star, which underscores the dilapidated condition of this 113-year old school in Nibong Tebal (South Province Wellesley).

Incidentally, I spent 9 years of my life studying in that school. The Alumni, which was formalised in 2010, has embarked on a fund raising campaign in collaboration with both the Methodist Primary and Secondary Schools' teaching fraternity and the respective Parent-Teacher Associations.

It is sad to note that the school, with a rich history as well as its significant role in contributing to the personal development of thousands of ex students to rise through the rural and under-privileged environment, is now deteriorating so badly that it may become unsafe for the current students...unless...some funds can be channelled into redevelopment of this noble institution!

It is also sad to note that this unfortunate situation has again hit into the fabric of our "silent citizens" that would require most of OUR assistance to pull them out of their economic plight! They happen to be in a region that the mainstream events passed them by and they remain unnoticed!

The alumni is setting a modest target of raising RM 101,700/= to provide proper wooden chairs and tables for the 18 classrooms. Currently, the students are using odd sizes plastic chairs and rickety desks of different colours, salvaged from other fully-aided schools. Even the teachers are not spared from this pitiful condition! We are not in a position to assist in renovating the infrastructure of the school!

Unfortunately, we think we can only collect about RM 55,500/=, which is drastically short of our modest target! I appeal to all of our friends who are concerned with the plight of our young generation, to please contribute any amount within your means for this cause.

Donations can be remitted into the Alumni's account as follows: "MSNTA (HLBB A/C No: 19400050888) “
You can contact the Alumni's office bearers, as stated in the article below, or the undersigned.

It shall be a great boost to all concerned, if by divine intervention; we are able to get some generous contributors to provide about RM 1.3 million to build both the primary and secondary schools in the perimeter of the current school compound. As the saying goes, “it may start with a dream, but the combined focus and determination of so many concerned people, may help this to become a reality!”

I thank you all for your kind indulgence.

Warmest regards,
Dr. Amin Kassim
